Sound
With a background in reading and writing classical music, I began exploring sound in 2020 through computer-generated audio, digital sound engineering (DAW), and live field recordings. Since then, I have used sound as an environmental layer within several exhibitions.

Psychotropic Sculpture (2016), a performance at Tokyo Wonder Site, Japan, was conceived specifically for the residency building’s floor plan. The piece grew out of an imaginative interpretation of the site, developed by studying its architectural drawings. It was created on the invitation of curator Isabel de Sena, who was in Tokyo for a research trip on Gutai.

Other works extend toward larger urban contexts such as New York City and Berlin. Opus 12 was composed for the exhibition Reimagine America at Spor Klübü and reflects my personal experience of settling in Berlin after having lived in New York City.
